Logos doesn’t have a single dedicated text editor. If you want access to more highlighting styles, or want to create your own, use the Highlighting Tool. In Logos, you can highlight text simply by selecting it, then picking a highlighting style from the selection menu that appears. Logos also automatically tags your notes with some kinds of data, like book of the Bible, date created, etc. Notes may only be placed in one notebook, but you can apply as many tags as you’d like to a given note. In Logos, Notes are organized in notebooks (these are similar to notestacks in Wordsearch) and with tags. You can access the Notes Tool directly by clicking Tools > Notes. The easiest is to highlight the text you want to take a note about, then select the note icon in the selection menu that appears. Logos supports several different ways to take notes. You can do this by assigning these two or more resources to the same link set. Link my Bible and commentary (or other resource) so that they stay in sync. You can also save as many custom layouts as you’d like. You can access these via the Layouts menu. Logos periodically takes snapshots of your layouts that you can return to. Save my arrangement of windows and tabs to return to at a later time. (Make sure that you purchase any resources with the account with which you use Logos.) If you don’t see a recently purchased resource, visit the troubleshooting page. This process may take a few minutes, but you don’t need to take any additional actions. When you purchase a book on, it automatically becomes available to you in Logos. In Logos, your preferred Bible appears as the default when you run a search or other tasks that require using a Bible. You can also quickly open your Bible to a specific passage by typing a reference in the Go box, then selecting the option that reads Go to in preferred Bible. (You can follow the same steps to open any other book in your Logos library.) In Logos, click the Library icon, then enter the name or abbreviation for the Bible you want to open.
